February 4 will release our brand new capsule called "Emotions", composed of 4 new knits created in collaboration with the artist Balcokulus.
I asked him to tell you a bit about what happened.
"My name is Balcokulus, I am a creative who tries all kinds of techniques: animation, textiles and screen printing among others.
At the moment, I create a lot on paintings.
I have a rather colorful and graphic style and create atmospheres where my characters evolve.
Most of my illustrations are made from intuitive drawing, leaving me to be carried away by my imagination.
My creative process for the drop was to focus on the symbolism of certain colors and postures.
I started by choosing colors and doing sketches and when it suited everyone, I moved on to canvas.
At the level of the work on the canvas, I added details to the characters, and used gradient effects to give a sensitivity, an energy crossing the character.
The idea was to make people feel a particular and different emotion depending on each knit.
And I found it interesting to see my creations on canvas move on to another medium, textiles."
